Hello readers.. Today I would like to share a report writing on BEL 313 assignment 3, forum. Basically this is the requirement from my lecturer. Hope it can help you guys in writing the report. Good Luck! :D

TIME: 2.10 P.M UNTIL 4.00 P.M (1 HOUR AND 50 MINUTES)

PLACE: BK 55

Ø  Lecturer gave explanations regarding the third assignment to the students which is forum.

Ø  Students try to understand the task given.

DATE: 20^TH FEBRUARY 2014

TIME: 2.10 P.M UNTIL 4.00 P.M (1 HOUR AND 50 MINUTES)

PLACE: BK 55

Ø  Searching for group members.

Ø  Students have to be divided into six groups consist of 4-5 students per group.

DATE: 21^TH FEBRUARY 2014

TIME: 8.30 A.M UNTIL  10.20 A.M (1 HOUR AND 50 MINUTES)

PLACE: BK 55

Ø  Students sat in their group and discussed on the topic that they will present.

Ø  We listed out the topics that suitable for our forum and asked the lecturer regarding the topic.

Ø  These are the topics that we have listed;

o   “should handpone be allowed in school?”

o   “is fast food good for health”

o   “pros and cons on corporal punishment?”

o   “is working woman is better than housewife?

TIME: 2.10 P.M UNTIL 4.00 P.M (1 HOUR AND 50 MINUTES)

Ø  All group explain the topic to lecturer.

Ø  Upon the approval from the lecturer on the topic, we started to search for the point.

Ø  Then, we decided who will be the supporting panellist and opposing panellist.

Ø  Anisha and Amir will be the supporting panellist while Nadia, Iza and Hasanah will be the opposing panellist for this topic.

Ø  We started our meeting by wrote the scripts for the panellist and scripts for moderator.

Ø  We discussed on the turn taking for each members.

Ø  After we done writing the script, we practiced our script together to make sure that we are comfortable with our point and can deliver it well to the audiences.

Ø  Mock trial 1 for the forum.

Ø  Lecturer select 4 students and 1 moderator to demonstrate a forum.

Ø  The topic given is on Study Abroad or Local : Which is better?

Ø  It will give a clear view on how forum is conduct.

TIME: 9.00 P.M UNTIL 11.00 P.M (2 HOURS)

PLACE: BK 55

Ø  Still progressing on the script writing.

Ø  Add and elaborate on the points.

Ø  Finishing the script.

Ø  We did our final practice and last alteration on the script and the report.

Ø  We also start to write a report for this assignment.
